2.8 - Features Related to US Programs

CSFP Program

CSFP Tab

The order of sections in the sections on the CSFP tab have changed to better represent the flow of intake for the user.

The Client Information will remain at the top, but the "Eligibility Criteria" section has been moved up before the Certification/Recertification Log. The Eligibility Criteria table will indicate if the client does need recertification at this point and if they're even eligible.

CSFP Screening

This feature will add a "New CSFP" button beside the "New Client" button.

Clicking on it will bring up a screening tab before going through client intake.

The options in this tab are set by the Network Administrator and added by Link2Feed Administrators. Options include:

  • Last Name
  • First Name
  • Address Line 1
  • Address Line 2
  • County
  • City
  • State
  • Zip Code
  • Household Size
  • Household Monthly Income
  • Proxy Signatory
  • Certification/Recertification disclaimer
  • eSignature

If using the first and last name fields, the system will still perform the inline duplicate check to see if that client is already in the system.

After clicking on "Confirm Eligibility" , the system will tell you if, based on the household income and/or social programs you may have set to be CSFP eligible, the client is eligible for the program or not.

Both the eligible and ineligible scripts can be customized by the network.

Regardless of if the client is eligible or not, you will still be led to go through client intake and complete the profile. All the fields you filled out during screening will already have been filled out.

This feature will NOT automatically be enabled on the day of the version rollout. If enabled, this button would be shown in all agencies that have a CSFP program. This is a decision that would need to be made by a Network Administrator. Users will also still be required to complete the CSFP Tab

Statuses

When a client's CSFP status has been set to Deceased, the entire profile will be set to deceased as well. See How Do I Set a Client's Profile to "Deceased"? for more details on what this means.

CSFP Official Location

If a user is recording a visit at a location that is not the same as the client's CSFP official location (listed on the CSFP tab of their profile), a notification will appear.

This is letting the user know that this location isn't listed as the client's CSFP location. They can cancel (to go back and update the CSFP tab) or click on "Continue" will which direct them to the CSFP visit page.

CSFP Kit Issuance List - Column Split

The "Status" and "Status Change Date" sections have been separated into separate columns to easier be able to filter individually.

CSFP Kit Issuance List - "Deceased" Toggle

The CSFP Kit Issuance List has a toggle button below the column options to decide if they would like deceased clients to show on the list or not.

TEFAP Program

Proof of ID

An additional TEFAP setting is available on the TEFAP tab for proof of ID.

If enabled, it will be a checkbox with the text "Check ID" on the client's TEFAP tab. It will be a required field for eligibility of a client to receive TEFAP food.

This feature will NOT automatically be enabled on the day of the version rollout. If enabled, this checkbox would be shown for networks that have the TEFAP tab enabled. This is a decision that would need to be made by a Network Administrator.

How to Make Changes

If you would like this change made, a Network Administrator would need to submit a support ticket to enable this feature.

City Eligibility

Similarly to social program eligibility, you can restrict TEFAP visits to clients' addresses that are within specific cities. This restriction will prevent clients who don't live within the listed cities from having  a TEFAP visit recorded in their profile. This eligibility will show on the TEFAP tab of a client's profile.

This feature will NOT automatically be enabled on the day of the version rollout. If enabled, this would be shown in all agencies that have the TEFAP tab enabled. This is a decision that would need to be made by a Network Administrator. They would need to first add the restricted cities to the Counties list. They would then need to submit a support ticket to have the support team enable the TEFAP city restriction setting and add those cities.

County Eligibility

Similarly to social program eligibility, you can restrict TEFAP visits to clients' addresses that are within specific counties. This restriction will prevent clients who don't live within the listed counties from having a TEFAP visit recorded in their profile. This eligibility will show on the TEFAP tab of a client's profile.

This feature will NOT automatically be enabled on the day of the version rollout. If enabled, this would be shown in all agencies that have the TEFAP tab enabled. This is a decision that would need to be made by a Network Administrator. They would need to first add the restricted counties to the Counties list. They would then need to submit a support ticket to have the support team enable the TEFAP county restriction setting and add those counties.

State Eligibility

TEFAP state eligibility will automatically be enforced base on the client's address. This restriction will prevent clients who don't live within the same state of the organization the user is logged into from having  a TEFAP visit recorded in their profile. The system will check the state of the address of the client. If it doesn't match the state of the user's organization, the client will not be able to certify/recertify on the TEFAP tab or have a TEFAP visit recorded.

SNAP Program

Award Value

The "CDN" text for the "Award Value" when the SNAP visit status is set to "Approved" has been removed and it now just shows the "$" symbol.

Add Visit Details

Users can now manually edit the visit date when recording a SNAP visit.

Customisable Statuses

The statuses listed when creating a SNAP application are now customisable. SNAP Status will be added to the Lists page under the Administration menu for Network Administrators to manage.

The following statuses will be locked:

  • Submitted

  • Approved- Keep follow-up fields when approved selected

  • Denied- Keep follow-up fields when denied selected

The following fields will still be included as defaults in the list, but can be "deactivated" if the food bank doesn't want to track it

  • Outreach

  • Applied Independently

  • Pre-Screen Denied

  • Mailed App

  • Out of Time Standard

  • Follow-up
