TEFAP Tab

Proof of ID

An additional TEFAP setting is available on the TEFAP tab for proof of ID.

If enabled, it will be a checkbox with the text "Check ID" on the client's TEFAP tab. It will be a required field for eligibility of a client to receive TEFAP food.

This tab will show proxy information, certification and recertification logs, and eligibility status via income and/or social program

  • If they are eligible for a criteria, it will be green
  • If they are not eligible for a criteria, it will be yellow

TEFAP Signatory

This feature is like the CSFP Signatory for those who are familiar with it. It allows users to add up to three proxies to be added to the client's profile.

These proxies will also show up on the "New Visit" page in case they pick up food for the client.

If enabled, this would apply to all agencies that have a TEFAP program.

On the TEFAP tab number just above the client ID, a notification says "If this client is not a TEFAP client, click on the "Services" tab to record a visit"

The TEFAP tab does not have to be filled out if the client is not a TEFAP client.

City Eligibility

Similarly to social program eligibility, you can restrict TEFAP visits to clients' addresses that are within specific cities. This restriction will prevent clients who don't live within the listed cities from having  a TEFAP visit recorded in their profile. This eligibility will show on the TEFAP tab of a client's profile.

County Eligibility

Similarly to social program eligibility, you can restrict TEFAP visits to clients' addresses that are within specific counties. This restriction will prevent clients who don't live within the listed counties from having a TEFAP visit recorded in their profile. This eligibility will show on the TEFAP tab of a client's profile.

State Eligibility

This restriction will prevent clients who don't live within the same state of the organization the user is logged into from having  a TEFAP visit recorded in their profile. The system will check the state of the address of the client. If it doesn't match the state of the user's organization, the client will not be able to certify/recertify on the TEFAP tab or have a TEFAP visit recorded.

TEFAP Certification/Recertification

A purple recertification banner will appear at the top of the client's profile. The next recertification date is default to 12 months from the previous recertification date. That time period can be changed by Network Administrators in their TEFAP Program settings

It is also optional to turn the certification/recertification disclaimer on or off. If turned on, you will need to provide Link2Feed with the disclaimer you want displayed.

Network Administrators have the ability to edit/delete recertification dates on the CSFP tab. Only users with that role will be able to see the icons to edit/delete entries.

TEFAP Certification/Recertification with Exception

A network can opt to have a "Certify/Recertify with exception" button added to this tab.

This will appear for the user to certify/recertify a client who isn't eligible based on income or social program eligibility guidelines.

It will certify/recertify them for six months.
