2.5 - Login & Administration

Password Lockout

Currently, when a user enters their password wrong three times over any period, they get locked out and a network administrator or Link2Feed Support has to unlock their account.

The new unlock process will include sending you a password reset email. The system will also unlock your account after an hour and allow you try entering your password again.

Permissions

Access to Multiple Locations

Some users are agency managers that have access to more than one location. If a user with the Agency Manager role has access to more than one organization, they can assign users to either organization, regardless of the location they are logged into.

E.g. if I have access to Agency A, Agency B and Agency C, regardless of which organization I'm logged into, I am now able to create and assign users to any of those organization, including more than one.

Messenger Role

There is a new role called "Messenger" for all users.

If selected, users would have access to the "Messages" functionality in the system. If not selected, they would not have the ability to send messages.

The Messenger role is automatically included in the "Network Admin", "Network Manager", "Agency Manager" and "Intake" Role profiles.

NOTE: by default, all users will have this role checked off when this rollout is released.

Network Settings

  • The current order for entering dates is YYYY-MM-DD. The options to change it to MM-DD-YYYY or DD-MM-YYYY format are now available. This change would affect your entire network. To do this, go to Administration, Organizations. Click on the orange "edit" icon beside the network's name. Click on "Edit Organization" on the right and scroll down to "Default Date Format" change the order.

Eligibility, Disclaimers and & ESignature Options

Different eligibility, disclaimers and eSignature options can now be used for different program types. For example, a TEFAP Pantry program and School Pantry program can have different disclaimers shown even though they're in the same network. To make any changes to your disclaimers or turn on/off eSignature options, the Network Administrator can submit a ticket to Link2Feed Support with the updated disclaimer and program type it should belong to.
